Documentation
You will need a passport with valid visa, appropriate travel insurance and an international driving license.
The climate at these altitudes can be most harsh and unforgiving. Rainfall is rare but cannot be ruled out. It can be warm during the day but when overcast it can get chilly.
Riding Gear
Since we would encounter roads with loose gravel and slush it is highly advisable to have proper, well armored motorcycling jacket, pant, gloves, etc. A full face helmet is advisable. Good water proof motorcycling shoes is also recommended. Incase you don’t want to carry excess luggage and wish to buy the gear here in India, please contact us.
Luggage
Your main luggage will be carried in a support vehicle but we advise you may want to get a small rucksack/tankbag to carry your small articles while on the road. Also the main bag you carry should ideally be a rucksack/bag. Please do not carry any suitcases.
Riding SkillsAn international driving license is mandatory. The terrain that you would encounter would be harsh and possibly something that you may not have encountered so far. This is certainly not recommended for amateur riders and a reasonable amount of riding experience preferably in mountainous terrain would be helpful.
